Craftsmanship

Made slowly, with natural materials and careful hands

Wood is shaped and finished by hand in our Portuguese workshop. Ceramics are made with traditional Portuguese potters.

Wood is shaped, sanded and finished by hand in our small Portuguese workshop. Ceramic pieces are made in collaboration with traditional Portuguese potters, then paired with stands designed to belong in your home for years.

In the hands

Every glaze develops differently,
and that is the signature.

Each crock is glazed and fired individually, so no two pieces are ever quite the same.

Each crock is glazed and fired individually, so colour pools, streaks and settles in its own way. Two pieces from the same batch are never quite the same, which is why we treat each one as functional sculpture rather than stock.

Made by hand

From clay and timber to everyday ritual.

Each piece brings together Portuguese ceramic craft and solid hardwood joinery, made slowly and finished by hand.

Material and detail

Close enough to see the glaze move

Deep speckled cobalt, honeycomb yellow, brushed gold and brass. The surfaces are where the work shows, so we photograph them the way you will see them at home.
